ويكيبيديا خارج الخدمة بعد قطع في أحد الأسلاك الرابطة بين مركزيه
عرف موقع الموسوعة الالكترونية ويكيبيديا بعض المشاكل واصبح من المتعذر الوصول إليه هذا الاثنين لمدة تجاوزت الساعتين.
الخلل تحديدا حصل بعد الساعة الواحدة و نصف بتوقيت غرينتش من بعد الظهيرة، حيث تعذر خلالها تصفح الموقع وعرض المحتوى بشكل طبيعي الأمر الذي أرجعت ويكيبيديا سببه إلى إنقطاع تم في سلكين يوصلان بين مركزي الموقع في ولايتي فلوريدا وفرجينيا بالولايات المتحدة.
هذا وإستبعدت ويكيبيديا أن يكون الإنقطاع قد نجم عن عمل متعمد في الوقت الذي أشارت فيه إلى أن عملية إعادة الموقع للخدمة تطلبت ساعة إضافية بعد اصلاح السلكين المقطوعين.
